We Want to Be Open and Accountable
The Eden Prairie Community Foundation has a legal and ethical obligation to its donors, partners, and the general public to be transparent and accountable in all that it does — especially in the area of finances.
So, you should know that:
- We comply with all legally required reporting procedures, including filing the IRS Form 990 and annual reports with the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General.
- We annually complete a professional audit of our finances, as required by our bylaws, and that audit is approved by the Foundation’s executive director, Finance Committee, and Board of Directors.
- We have earned GuideStar’s Gold Seal of Transparency.
These documents also help tell the Foundation’s story by outlining how revenues are obtained and how the Foundation spends your donations.
