Every great city has a strong nonprofit community behind it. That’s especially true in Eden Prairie, and part of the Foundation’s mission is to keep this nonprofit community vibrant and engaged.
To that end, the Foundation in partnership with Propel Nonprofits provided professionally led training to local nonprofit board members and their executive directors from 8 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019 in the Heritage Rooms of the Eden Prairie City Center, 8080 Mitchell Road. Other partners in this effort were Flagship Bank and the City of Eden Prairie.
More than 30 persons from 14 different Eden Prairie organizations attended the 2019 Board Boot Camp, and heard presenter Glyn Northington cover a wealth of nonprofit topics important to board members, including accounting and finance, board governance, strategic planning, and the feeding and care of executive directors.
