Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity that will help Eden Prairie and give you an insider’s look at the nonprofit world?
The Eden Prairie Community Foundation currently needs an office volunteer who has enough computer savvy to assist with the donor database; enough writing ability to craft thank-you notes and other communications, and enough imagination to provide new ideas to make Eden Prairie better.
If that’s you, please let us know. We have an open-ended, unpaid volunteer position that can be a mix of in-office and at-home work, from 6 to 10 hours a week. Work on some easy tasks that allow the executive director to focus on mission. Or, contribute in a big way by devising ways to connect to community members.
It’s an ideal position for someone who’s retired and looking to give back to Eden Prairie. Or, a college student who’s majoring in nonprofit administration and needs a bit more experience on their resume.
The Foundation has a desk and computer for you, so we can get you going immediately. Want to make it a summer thing? That’s fine. Or stick around past the Prairie Brewfest event in September? That’s great, too.
For more information, contact the Foundation’s executive director, Mark Weber, at (952) 949-8499 or [email protected].
