Another record-setting Prairie Brewfest is history. About 660 persons attended the fifth annual Brewfest held Sept. 8, 2018 at Purgatory Creek Park, and that continues the trend of attendance growth every year. Last year’s crowd was 600.
Many thanks to all who attended. The sunny and 72-degree weather was fabulous, making Prairie Brewfest all the more fun. We had nearly 20 craft-beer brewers, a distillery, and a winery serving samples at this event. In addition, we had three food trucks and live music from Wondercure.
Revenues of more than $31,000 from this event support the Foundation’s programs and operation, and therefore go back into the community. Beyond that, Prairie Brewfest is a chance to make new friends, and so we welcome to our family those who heard about the Foundation for the first time on Saturday.
Brewfest would not be possible without the efforts of Chair Dave Lindahl, the Foundation’s board of directors, and a hard-working crew of volunteers, but most of all the 2018 Brewfest Sponsors who supported this event in a big way. Thank you, sponsors!
