Southwest light rail, sustainability, and building developments – these are a few of the topics that City Manager Rick Getschow will touch on during his portion of the “State of the Foundation, City & Schools” program Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019.
Getschow will also outline new city communication tools, improvements to parks, and upcoming city events.
But wait … there’s more!
Dr. Josh Swanson, superintendent of Eden Prairie Schools, will share the school district’s recent accomplishments, and Foundation Executive Director Mark Weber will explain how the nonprofit’s resources are being directed in 2019.
This informative program is intended to make you an Eden Prairie insider – privy to what’s really going on in Eden Prairie. And it comes to you free of charge!
The program includes free appetizers and a cash bar from 5-6 p.m., followed by the three presentations from 6-7 p.m. It all takes place in the Atrium and Heritage rooms of the Eden Prairie City Center, 8080 Mitchell Road.
“State of …” is a partnership of the Foundation, City of Eden Prairie, and Eden Prairie Schools. Also helping is the Eden Prairie Lions Club, which operates the cash bar. Attendees are invited to pre-register on this website or contact Weber at [email protected].
