Older adults needing help with utility bills, and others, will be helped by 2019 grants

Fourteen organizations receiving 2019 grants from the Eden Prairie Community Foundation were recognized at the annual EP Gives event on April 27 at Bearpath Golf & Country Club.

The grants will help homebound persons, people with intellectual disabilities, older adults having difficulty paying utility bills, young women who are homeless, and many others in Eden Prairie.

The organizations selected by the Foundation to receive grants submitted applications that were reviewed by the EPCF Grants Committee, which made recommendations to the Foundation Board of Directors. They were funded by the direct-grants programs, by donor-advised fund holders, and in one case by one of Eden Prairie’s major businesses. Also listed here are the winners of the first and second years of the Dr. Jean L. Harris Scholarship.
