If you’re a student looking for an unpaid internship to round out your summer of 2020, think about a current offering at the Eden Prairie Community Foundation.
The Foundation is looking for several students who can spend a few hours per week through the rest of July and August contacting nonprofit and civic organizations serving Eden Prairie and collecting information on the services they offer. Students will then help build a database with this information so the Foundation can serve as a sort of resource “hub” in Eden Prairie.
This “hub” concept has emerged from strategic planning that’s underway at the Foundation. Studies have confirmed that one of Eden Prairie’s top gaps, when it comes to providing services, is a lack of awareness by residents as to what’s available and how to access it.
The Foundation’s aim is to help make these connections easier!
