Join Us, and Connect with Neighbors
Events are a fun way to support the Eden Prairie Community Foundation, learn about its work, and meet your neighbors.
A great example is the annual Prairie Brewfest that will be held again on Sept. 8, 2018 at Purgatory Creek Park in Eden Prairie. The 2017 Brewfest had a record 600 ticket holders on a beautiful, 76-degree day. Many thanks to all the attendees, volunteers, vendors, and sponsors who made this craft-beer sampling event a big success. We’re looking forward to beating records in 2018.
If you’d like to be involved in planning and implementing our fourth annual Prairie Brewfest event, simply send an e-mail to Mark Weber, executive director of the Foundation, at [email protected]ityfoundation.org. You can read details about the event on the Prairie Brewfest website.
Our Annual Events
State of the City, Schools, and Foundation — This free February program at the Eden Prairie City Center is an informative update on what’s new at the Eden Prairie Community Foundation, the City of Eden Prairie, and the Eden Prairie School District. You’ll hear from the experts, including the city manager and superintendent of schools.
EP Gives — Our annual gala celebrates a year’s worth of philanthropy and recognizes the Foundation’s newest grant winners. Food, drink, socializing, dancing, a live auction — it’s all part of this popular community gathering that is the successor to the original Foundation Ball. Our next EP Gives is April 29, 2017 at Oak Ridge Conference Center in Chaska. (See a gallery of Steve Silverman photos from the 2016 EP Gives event.)

Prairie Brewfest — Does it get any better than sampling great craft beer and enjoying good food and live music in a beautiful outdoor environment? This is Prairie Brewfest, an outdoor party where you’ll make new friends and support the Foundation’s work to make Eden Prairie better.
Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon — The Foundation and Flagship Bank recognize the day-in, day-out work of community volunteers, elected officials, and others at this annual lunch held in December at Olympic Hills Golf Club. The more that community leaders gather, the greater the chances they’ll collaborate in ways that benefit Eden Prairie.
