We Want to Be Open and Accountable
The Eden Prairie Community Foundation has a legal and ethical obligation to its donors, partners, and the general public to be transparent and accountable in all that it does — especially in the area of finances.
So, you should know that:
- We comply with all legally required reporting procedures, including filing the IRS Form 990 and annual reports with the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General.
- We annually complete a professional audit of our finances, as required by our bylaws, and that audit is approved by the Foundation’s executive director, Finance Committee, and Board of Directors.
- We have earned GuideStar’s Gold Seal of Transparency.
These documents also help tell the Foundation’s story by outlining how revenues are obtained and how the Foundation spends your donations.
You can access these reports by using the links on this page. You’ll be connected to documents that contain a balance sheet, income statement, functional expense allocation, and other information that demonstrates our commitment to building public trust.
Or, inspect hard copies of these documents at the Foundation office located at the Eden Prairie City Center, 8080 Mitchell Road, Eden Prairie, MN 55344.
