If you like craft beer and a good band on a nice fall day, then you can’t do better than Prairie Brewfest, an annual craft-beer sampling fundraiser held by the Foundation.
Started in 2014, Prairie Brewfest has grown dramatically each year. The 2019 event was held on Sept. 7, and all told more than 700 persons attended.
It was also the first year for the Brewfest Choice Grants. Four finalists were voted on by Prairie Brewfest attendees. Meals on Wheels had the most votes and will be awarded a $2,000 grant from the Foundation. Receiving grants of $1,000, $600, and $400 respectively will be READY! for K, PeopleFest, and the Friends of the EP Library Rain Garden.
Foundation volunteer and professional photographer Steve Silverman has created a gallery of photos he took at 2019 Prairie Brewfest, and you can see them here.
Meanwhile, stay tuned for 2020 Prairie Brewfest, which will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12.
Also, we’d like to give a big thank-you to our 2019 Prairie Brewfest sponsors. Without them, this event — and much of the Foundation’s work to make Eden Prairie better — would not be possible. Please patronize them. Check out the impressive list of sponsors in this image.
