If you like craft beer and a good band on a nice fall day, then you can’t do better than Prairie Brewfest, an annual craft-beer sampling fundraiser held by the Foundation.
Started in 2014, Prairie Brewfest has grown by about 100 attendees each year. The 2017 event had 600 guests enjoying beverage samples from 20 brewers, three food trucks, and live music from Wondercure on a beautiful day at Purgatory Creek Park in Eden Prairie.
We’ll look to top that when 2018 Prairie Brewfest is held 3-6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, again at Purgatory Creek Park. Tickets are $30 ahead of time and can be purchased soon on this website. They can also be purchased at the event, for $35 each.
A ticket gives you free samples of all the beer, wine, and spirits available from that day’s vendors, including some of the most popular craft brewers in the Twin Cities and all of Minnesota. Listen to Wondercure, purchase some food, play some games and you will have completed the perfect fall afternoon in Minnesota. (See our blog post listing which craft brewers are scheduled to appear on Sept. 8.)
You’ll also be doing a good deed for Eden Prairie. Proceeds help the Foundation serve as a grant maker and fiscal sponsor to other organizations and projects in the community.
So, fill your glass with great Minnesota beer and help the Foundation fill unmet needs.
