If you like craft beer and a good band on a nice fall day, then you can’t do better than Prairie Brewfest, an annual craft-beer sampling fundraiser held by the Foundation.
Started in 2014, Prairie Brewfest has grown dramatically each year. The 2018 event had 660 guests enjoying beverage samples from 20 brewers and one vintner, three food trucks, and live music from Wondercure on a beautiful day at Purgatory Creek Park in Eden Prairie.
We’ll look to top that when 2019 Prairie Brewfest is held 3-6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, again at Purgatory Creek Park. Watch for more detail as September approaches.
A ticket gives you free samples of all the beer, wine, and spirits available from that day’s vendors, including some of the most popular craft brewers in the Twin Cities and all of Minnesota. Listen to Wondercure, purchase some food, play some games and you will have completed the perfect fall afternoon in Minnesota.
You’ll also be doing a good deed for Eden Prairie. Proceeds help the Foundation fund projects that assist individuals and families living in poverty, help seniors and individuals living with disabilities, strengthen community services, and provide scholarships and access to after-school programs for local youth.
So, fill your glass with great Minnesota beer and help the Foundation fill unmet needs by attending Prairie Brewfest.
