In the spirit of “We do better together,” the Foundation’s spring gala known as “EP Gives” is about bringing people together – in this case, to celebrate!
What’s celebrated is another year of philanthropy and the latest round of Foundation grant winners.
Of course, it’s also a fundraiser, one that supports the Foundation’s ongoing work in philanthropy, collaboration, and leadership.
The 2017 “EP Gives” event, brought to you by title sponsor Starkey Hearing Technologies, is 6-11:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, and has several new twists that make it worth attending. They include:
- A new venue. We’re moving to Oak Ridge Hotel & Conference Center in Chaska – an easy, 12-minute drive from Eden Prairie – where there is plenty of parking and you can even stay overnight. (Oak Ridge is offering a special room rate of $99 for EP Gives guests; to reserve, call 952-368-1492 and use the Group Code: EP-Gives.)
- Great food from an award-winning chef. Sample hors d’oeuvres from four countries, as expertly prepared by Chef Virgil Emmert, CEC, ACE. Emmert was the 2014 American Culinary Federation Chef of the Year for the Minneapolis Chapter.
- A hot new band. After dessert and coffee, you can dance the night away to music from The Dap Squad, billed as the “Midwest’s No. 1 Variety Event Band,” with several members who have toured with national stars, including Travis Tritt.
You’ll also meet some local heroes: nonprofit leaders and grant winners who are doing amazing work to serve people who live or work in Eden Prairie. A live auction and special appeal for the Foundation’s “Youth Initiative” are also part of the event.
Tickets are $100 each ($65 of which is tax-deductible) and can be purchased using the form below. Here’s a list of our valued sponsors:
