You don’t need to know what every Eden Prairie nonprofit does — we do that for you!
Your donations become impactful grants because we tap the knowledge and expertise of leaders and community members. Our Grants Committee reviews detailed grant applications and deliberates to ensure funding goes where it’s needed most and makes the greatest impact.
Thanks to the generosity of people in Eden Prairie, the Community Foundation has a long tradition of granting to fill unmet needs and change lives. We’ve been making grants since 1981, meaning we’ve awarded about $2 million in grants to 100-plus nonprofits and agencies serving people who live and work in Eden Prairie.
Projects We’ve Helped Fund
We’ve awarded grants for a wide variety of projects that make Eden Prairie a better place for everyone. We’ve helped fund everything from domestic violence prevention to free school meals and everything in between. Here’s a small sampling of past grants:
Hunger prevention programs for youth, seniors, and families.
Transitional housing support for homeless youth.
Domestic violence support, shelter, and advocacy.
Weekend meal programs for schoolchildren.
Respite and recreation services for people with disabilities.
Support to help seniors live safely at home.
School-based therapy for EP students.
Recreational & education opportunities for residents with disabilities.
Affordable transportation for adults with disabilities.
Translation services for veterinary care.
Music therapy classes for individuals with disabilities.
Support for service dog training programs.
Youth fishing and recreation programs.
STEM-focused engineering programs for elementary children.
