Mothers Tutoring Academy
Tutors at MTA are recruited to work one-on-one with students, coach students in the completion of homework, and classroom assignment. We coordinate and rearrange our schedules to help with classroom objectives set by their regular teacher and even go beyond expectations. Not only are our students are taught learning skills, they learn through observation how to civilly behave. We have the best interest of our students in mind and motivate them to become champions of academic success, independent learners, and ready to assist their peers.

MoveFwd
Founded in 1990, MoveFwd is a Minnesota non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that serves young people age 12-24 in the west metro Hennepin County suburbs. We offer both youth homelessness and youth mental health services. Our programs include: Outreach and Drop-in Services (includes school, community and street outreach; case management; and MoveFwd’s Drop-in Center in Hopkins. Transitional Living Program provides youth experiencing homelessness with two years of partial rent assistance and case management. Youth Mental Health Services are delivered by licensed therapists in local schools, our drop-in center, and via telehealth using a no-cost, barrier-free model.

MyHealth
MyHealth provides low-cost medical care, reproductive health care, counseling, and educational services for young people ages 12-26. These services include pregnancy testing, birth control, Emergency Contraception (ECP), STI testing and treatment, general and sports physicals, vaccines, minor illness checks and treatment, asthma care, dental care, pregnancy and parenting home visiting program, and health education, and parent education. We never turn anyone away, even if they cannot pay.
